Idolish7 is a franchise that is not well known in the united states. It is a Japanese anime and mobile game with a rich story about a collection of 16 male idols, separated into 4 groups, as they navigate the industry, forming friendships and bonds as well as facing the risks of the entertainment world. It was introduced to me by my best friend in 2022 and has been close to my heart ever since.

In 2024 I decided to challenge myself by drawing every character for their birthday. For this year, Idolish7 had a project called "16 Producers". For each group, one or two of the members would produce a song for the birthday boy. I chose to do the birthday art highlighting each member and their producers, drawing them as plushies that are made by the company. I succeeded in drawing everyone, and enjoyed the challenge to do a drawing every month, even when I was feeling less motivated. It was also fun to show so much love to this franchise that means so much to me, which is why I gave this its own section on my portfolio.
